Structured Data

CSV and TSV Viewer

Upload or paste CSV/TSV and inspect rows without confusing commas inside quoted cells with delimiters.

How this tool works

The parser handles escaped quotes, CRLF, empty cells, tabs, commas, and semicolons. The table scrolls horizontally and search narrows visible rows.

Auto detection uses a small sample and can be ambiguous. Select the delimiter explicitly when columns look wrong; large previews are capped.

Examples

  • Inspect a quoted address containing a comma.
  • Open a tab-separated export.
  • Search a large fixture while retaining total counts.

Common use cases

Inspect a partner export before choosing import columns.

Worked synthetic example

Valid example

name,note Ada,"hello, world"

Expected: One row with a two-column header and an intact comma in note. The quoted comma belongs to the cell.

Failure or warning to recognize

Invalid/failure example

name,note Ada,"unclosed quoted cell

Expected: An unclosed quoted cell reports a CSV parse error rather than displaying a partial table.
