JSON

NDJSON Viewer

Paste or upload line-delimited JSON and find malformed lines without losing valid records.

How this tool works

NDJSON contains one complete JSON value on each nonblank line. This viewer reports each failing line while retaining valid values for filtering and export.

A JSON array is one JSON document, not a sequence of NDJSON records. Preview rendering is capped even when parsing more records.

Examples

  • Inspect a synthetic event stream.
  • Locate one malformed line among valid records.
  • Export only valid entries after review.

Common use cases

Triage an event export that contains a damaged record.

Worked synthetic example

Valid example

{"id":1} not JSON {"id":2}

Expected: Two valid records and a parse error on line 2. The malformed line does not discard the valid surrounding records.

Failure or warning to recognize

Invalid/failure example

{"id":1} not JSON {"id":2}

Expected: A malformed line is reported with its line number and excluded from valid-record export.
